Adventures in Coloritland
(Promotional stories)
Colorit is a rangle of colourful papers by James McNaughton. They wanted to promote their papers to printers.
The solution was to create a place called ‘Coloritland’ where the ‘Colorits’ lived, whose activities and goings on could highlight the benefits of the paper, cleverly nestled within various storylines.
The concept was first introduced as a booklet ‘Welcome to Coloritland’. Which won a D&AD wooden pencil for ‘Writing for Design’. The follow up was a series of mini adventures of some of the key characters introduced in the initial launch.
Probably my most favourite project while working as a designer at the creative agency Radley Yeldar.
